Benefits of Bentonite Clay

During my now over 12 year detox from my mercury amalgam fillings, I have used bentonite, both externally and internally, and found it to be very beneficial.

The health benefits of clay, are broad spectrum and varied. Since clay is generally safe for both internal and external use, you are free to experiment to see how clay benefits you.

During my detox, I have taken bentonite clay bathes and added bentonite clay to juice in the morning, with good results, actually really like it, but it’s not cheap 😉

INTERNALLY- With a powerful negative ionic charge, and a particle size small enough to pass though the blood brain barrier, bentonite clay is often ingested and it then works to attract positively charged pathogens, bacteria, viruses, free radicals, heavy metals and radiation and safely removes it out of the body through the bowels.

EXTERNALLY- People use clay externally on cuts, scrapes, bites, stings, sprains, eczema, shingles, acne, boils and other ailments. Clay acts as a powerful painkiller and it draws out toxins though your skin. Make a poultice with a little water and pack it on your wound and you can wrap saran wrap around the injured area to keep the clay moist and in place. Some people leave the clay on all night. I have also heard of creating a paste the consistency of peanut butter and spreading it 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick over the affected area.

Clay has been found to be an effective pain reducer, and is now a recommended part of The Gerson Therapy, a natural cancer treatment that activates the body’s own healing mechanism to combat cancer, arthritis, heart disease, allergies and many other degenerative diseases. http://www.gerson.org

Many people will bath in bentonite clay or create a foot bath to remove toxins through the feet. Bentonite clay makes an amazing face mask – drawing out impurities, toning, tightening and minimizing fine lines and wrinkles. For baths you can add as much or as little as you want. You might try 1/4 to 1 cup of clay with very warm bathwater and stay in for a shorter period of time at first and you should also add Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar, to your health regimen, both internally and externally 😉

When you are detoxing remember to drink a lot of water. If the clay is making you constipated try drinking more water, taking the clay only before bed and/or supplementing with magnesium.
Do not use metal utensils when mixing or applying clay. Use glass, wood and/or plastic. The clay will absorb the metal. Start small and work your way up.

You don’t want to detox too fast.
Be patient. Detoxing can take weeks, months or even years. Don’t take clay with medication or during chemotherapy as the clay can absorb radiation and possibly some medications so to be safe, wait a couple hours before or after or ask your naturopathic doctor or chiropractor for advice.

Bentonite Clay Bathes are One Of The Most Relaxing Things You Will Ever Experience
and You Will Sleep Like a Baby Afterwards …I hope you give it a try- To your Health!
