If you’re new to fasting, you’ll obviously want to double check with your physician (knowing that they’ll most likely tell you that you’re crazy) before starting.

I would recommend beginning with a simple 1-day water fast. Eat and drink nothing but water for just one day .

If you feel better throughout the day or even the next day, that’s a good sign.

You may experience some side effects like headaches or anxiety caused by the absense of caffeine and sugar in your diet .

Remember, fasting is not easy. It requires commitment and determination. But if you are up for a challenge that can dramatically better your health then give it a shot. After fasting, why not try a raw food diet to get on the right track!

 

Detoxamin/Wow Did I Finally Find It?

I don’t want to get too excited,  but it would appear,  that the wonder suppositories,  have arrived? That is,  Detoxamin,  the new heavy metal chelation therapy,  delivered,  via a suppository. Very Cool,  and seemingly the answer to a very complex problem, and kudos  to those that have figured this out,  especially,  if there are no side affects? As you may,  or may not know,  I have been detoxing,  from what I believe to be mercury toxicity,  as I have every symptom listed for it? I am now in the middle of massive detoxification,  and the removal,  of what were 15 mercury dental amalgam fillings,  now being replaced with composite fillings. I have so far had one quarter of my mouth done, the lower left,  so,  about 12 more fillings  to be removed.

I have been mostly doing the natural detoxification methods,  of supplementing with cilantro and chlorella, I use  cilantro, frozen cubes, fresh daily in my smoothie and as a spice on foods,  also tincture,  from the health food store. The chlorella is a very interesting food source,  and I have tried every kind available,  and tend to feel that the powdered form  is the most beneficial, I also tend to take more of everything then they suggest as I have always had a high tolerance to everything, but this is very personal,  and one must study and learn the affects of certain treatments for them. I do believe that this is a learned technique that anyone  can do.

Insure Your Own Health…….Indeed!

Let’s face it, it’s not rocket science, you are what you eat, and if you sit around and do nothing and eat, YOU GET FAT! That’s just one of the problems, than you got all that emotional stuff to deal with, and that can cause some health issues too! Wow, makes ya want to give up already doesn’t it ? Well,  bottom line is,  I have been lucky in all this, that being, that my Dad was a fitness freak after the war, yeah the old ww2,  he even went on as a member of Provincial Parliament in Ontario, Canada  in the early 60’s to push a form of universal exercise care for all Canadians, but they didn’t buy it! Anyway that thinking rubbed off on me 😉

So fast forward to 2010, dad is 95 and still bitching about his bad back, and mom at 88 in a few days,  still looks after both of them, as in totally,  food , driving,  you name it! Point is, I am fortunate to be blessed with old age in my family, and thus feel compelled to write about both the virtues of it,  as well as all the advancements in human longevity that are coming at us from all directions?

Somewhere  in here,  lies my undying belief, that we control our own health destiny.

I feel really strong about our ability to know what foods work for us, and what food’s do not, and that we all have this ability, we just need to become aware of it, and get used to what feeling good really feels like 😉

You have to GET MAD at FEELING BAD! Do not accept it! Learn to feel great, become aware of the difference, it is that easy, just pay attention to your tummy…..dummy 😉
